TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & REFUNDS ("TERMS")

Thank you for purchasing from Grovero. We strive to make your shopping experience at our online store, available at www.grovero.com, as pleasant as possible. Our online store is operated by Grovero, a company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands. If you would like to contact us, you can send a letter to our registered business address or reach us via email at support@grovero.com.

General terms and conditions also apply to transactions in the Grovero online store. Our privacy policy and terms of use also apply. To place orders at our store, you must be at least eighteen years old.

STANDARD RETURN POLICY

You have the legal right to cancel your order, return a product or cancel a service contract for any reason. If you wish to return a product purchased from Grovero, you must notify us no later than 14 days after you or your designated representative has taken physical possession of the product(s).

If you have ordered multiple products in a single order and wish to return one or more of these products, you must inform us no later than 14 days after you or a designated person has physically taken possession of the last product in that order.

To exercise this right, simply notify us of your intention to return a product or cancel an order. You can inform us by completing and submitting the model form at the end of this policy document, contacting us via our email at support@grovero.com, or by calling us at +31 6 4910 9242.

Once you have informed us of your intention, please return the product to us along with the original receipt, original packaging and any associated accessories. After notifying us of your return intention, you have an additional 14 days to return the product. Once we receive the product or proof of postage, we will refund the original purchase price within 14 days, using the same payment method you used for your purchase.

You can only return the following items in the event of a defect or lack of conformity with the product description:

  • Items that have been damaged or have missing parts.
  • Products where the seal has been broken after delivery.

If the product is damaged, we may deduct the depreciation of the product from the refund amount.

We will reimburse you for all costs incurred in connection with the product, with the exception of the costs of delivery.

PRICES AND PRICE REDUCTIONS/ADJUSTMENTS

Grovero reserves the right to change the prices of products listed on the Grovero Store at any time and to correct any incorrectly stated prices. Price changes will not affect orders already accepted by Grovero. In the event of an incorrect price, we will notify you of the error and give you the opportunity to continue the transaction at the correct price or cancel your order free of charge.

In addition to your right to cancel your order, return a product, or cancel a service contract as described in our return policy, if Grovero reduces the price of a product within 14 calendar days of the date you received your product, you may request a refund or credit for the difference between the price you paid and the current retail price. To do this, please contact Grovero customer service at support@grovero.com. To qualify for a refund or credit, you must contact us within 14 calendar days after the price change.

Please note, this right does not apply to limited-time price reductions, such as those during special sales events.

ORDER, ORDER CONFIRMATION AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE

You can order Grovero microfarms, accessories, seeds, nutrients and cleaning products through our online store at grovero.com or by contacting our sales team directly at support@grovero.com. To place an order, add your desired products to your shopping cart, proceed to checkout and select your preferred payment method. Before completing your purchase, you will have the opportunity to review your order and delivery details.

Once your order is placed, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it. This confirmation, along with your order number, acknowledges that we have received your request but does not yet constitute acceptance of your order. We will confirm acceptance once we process and prepare your product for shipment, at which point we will send you a shipping confirmation email.

Grovero reserves the right to accept or decline your order at our discretion. In the event that a product is not available, you will be informed immediately and offered an alternative solution. Once your order has been accepted, the agreement between you and Grovero is finalized, and we will arrange the delivery of your product(s) as soon as possible.

For items in stock, order acceptance typically occurs within 48 hours. For custom or out-of-stock items, the shipping confirmation will be sent once the product is available and ready to ship, always within the estimated delivery time displayed at checkout.

SHIPPING, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

Grovero offers two delivery options for our microfarms: standard delivery and installation service.

  • Standard Delivery: Once all the products in your order are available, your order will be shipped. Standard delivery is available both within the Netherlands and internationally. Please note that for addresses outside the Netherlands, delivery may take longer and additional shipping costs may apply depending on the location. As soon as your order is ready for shipment, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information and the estimated delivery date.
  • Installation Service: Grovero provides a professional installation service to ensure a smooth setup process for your microfarm. This service includes full setup and training for you or your staff. Installation services are currently available for customers within the Netherlands. For other locations, please contact our team at support@grovero.com to discuss availability and any additional costs.

If you experience any issues with delivery or installation, please contact Grovero customer service at support@grovero.com, and we will assist you promptly.

Ownership and risk of loss or damage to the product(s) pass to you once the courier delivers the microfarm to your specified address. If you opt for our installation service, the transfer of ownership and risk occurs once the microfarm has been fully set up and handed over to you. Grovero works with trusted couriers to ensure safe and secure delivery, but should you encounter any issues, please reach out to our support team for assistance.

GROVERO COLLECTION POINT

At Grovero, we currently offer the option for customers to pick up their microfarm directly from our headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. However, not all products may be eligible for this option. If your purchase is eligible for collection, you or a person you designate may collect the product(s). When picking up an order, a valid photo ID and the order confirmation number must be presented.

If you designate someone else to collect the order on your behalf, you must provide their name and email address at the time of purchase. The designated person will also need to present a valid photo ID and the order number at the collection point. Grovero is not responsible for any issues with the product(s) after they have been picked up by you or your designated person.

You will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection, including the final collection date. Grovero may send one or two reminders to ensure timely pick-up. If the product(s) are not collected by the final collection date, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

WARRANTY POLICY FOR GROVERO MICROFARMS

At Grovero, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. We are committed to ensuring that you receive a product that meets your expectations. Therefore, we offer a comprehensive warranty for our microfarms as outlined below:

WARRANTY DURATION

  • Two-Year Warranty: All Grovero microfarms come with a statutory two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance conditions.

WHAT IS COVERED?

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in the microfarm.
  • Malfunctions that arise from normal use.
  • Necessary repairs or replacements required due to defects.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, neglect or unauthorized repairs.
  • Normal wear and tear of the product.
  • Damages resulting from external factors such as natural disasters, accidents or misuse.

CLAIMS PROCESS

To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at support@grovero.com to report the issue.
  2. Provide Documentation: Include proof of purchase and a description of the defect or issue.
  3. Return the Product: If instructed, return the defective microfarm along with the original packaging and accessories.

Once we receive your claim, we will assess the issue and provide guidance on the next steps, which may include repair, replacement or refund.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer under Dutch law. In the event that a product is defective, you have the right to a repair or replacement at no additional cost, as mandated by the Netherlands’ consumer protection regulations.

EXPORT RESTRICTIONS

This Agreement is subject to applicable export restrictions. You may not export the microfarms purchased from Grovero to other countries or regions if prohibited by applicable export control laws. If you plan to export Grovero products to other countries or regions, you must obtain any legally required export licenses or other forms of government authorization before doing so.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND RESTRICTIONS

Due to the popularity and/or supply limitations of our microfarms, Grovero may need to limit the number of units available for sale. However, we will strive to produce sufficient quantities of our products. Grovero reserves the right to change the quantities available for sale at any time, even after you have placed an order, provided that we have not yet accepted your order.

PAYMENTS

If you pay by credit card, the total amount of your order may be reserved on your card. If we do not receive approval from the credit card company, we will notify you. You can then choose a different payment method. Once we have accepted your order, your credit card will be charged.

Grovero reserves the right to verify the cardholder’s identity. To prevent unauthorized use of your credit or debit card, we will compare the name, address and other personal information you provide when ordering with information from the credit card company and the intermediary. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to such checks.
